This policy describes when refunds may be available for educational products, programs, and guidance sessions purchased from Forestdetoxify.

We provide non-medical educational content about hydration and basic well-being. This Refund Policy forms part of our Terms of Use.

2. Consumer Rights in New Zealand

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) where you qualify as a consumer. Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill; digital products must be fit for disclosed purpose. If a guarantee is breached, you may be entitled to a remedy such as refund, replacement, or compensation as the law allows.

3. Digital Educational Products

3.1 Workbooks and downloadable materials

If you purchase a PDF workbook or similar digital file, you may request a full refund within fourteen days of purchase provided:

  • You have not downloaded or printed more than ten percent of the pages, and
  • You describe a material technical issue we cannot resolve within five business days, or the content substantially differs from the published description on our website

Change-of-mind refunds are not available after download except where required by the CGA.

3.2 Access credentials

For online libraries or module access, refunds within fourteen days are considered if login failures persist after our support team verifies your account. Sharing credentials with third parties voids eligibility.

4. Programs and Challenges

Multi-week educational programs begin on stated start dates. You may cancel before the start date for a full refund minus any payment processing fees disclosed at checkout (typically under five percent).

After a program begins, partial refunds may be issued at our discretion if you withdraw within the first seven days due to serious technical barriers preventing participation. No refund is available for voluntary withdrawal after day seven, except under CGA remedies.

We do not guarantee specific personal outcomes from program participation. Dissatisfaction with subjective progress is not grounds for refund unless services were not delivered as described.

5. Educational Guidance Sessions

Single-session bookings may be rescheduled with twenty-four hours notice. Cancellations with at least forty-eight hours notice receive a full refund or credit at your choice.

Cancellations within forty-eight hours may forfeit fifty percent of the session fee to cover reserved time. No-shows without notice are non-refundable.

If we cancel a session, you receive a full refund or complimentary reschedule.

6. Personalized Non-Medical Plans

Custom plan documents delivered electronically are non-refundable once delivered, unless the document contains factual errors attributable to us (for example incorrect name or plan type). Corrections are provided promptly; refunds apply only if correction is not possible.

7. How to Request a Refund

Email admin@forestdetoxify.world with:

  • Full name and email used at purchase
  • Order reference or payment date
  • Product or service name
  • Reason for the request with relevant detail

We acknowledge requests within three business days and decide within ten business days unless additional investigation is required.

8. Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Processing by banks may take five to ten business days after approval. If the original method is unavailable, we may offer store credit with your consent.

9. Chargebacks

Contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve issues directly. Unfounded chargebacks may result in suspension of access to educational accounts pending investigation.

10. Taxes

Refunds include GST where applicable and shown on your receipt. Adjustments follow Inland Revenue guidelines for New Zealand suppliers.

11. Exceptions

Promotional or discounted bundles may carry specific refund rules stated at purchase. Free resources and newsletter subscriptions carry no payment and therefore no refund.
